First a little drop of rain hit the ground, (Tap, Tap)
Then another drop of rain hit the ground, (Tap, Tap)
Then another and another and another and another,
And pretty soon we heard a different sound. (Splash! Splash!)

Pitter, patter raindrops,
Pitter, patter raindrops,
I'm all wet, I'm all wet!
 

Here's my new Umbrella.
Wide and high.
It keeps me cozy, warm and dry.
If the rain starts falling from the sky
Just open me up and you'll stay dry .

Five umbrellas stood by the back door,
The red one went outside, then there were four.
Four umbrellas pretty as can be,
The blue one went outside, then there were three.   
Three umbrellas with nothing to do,
The green one went outside, then there was one.
Just one umbrella alone in the hall,
The purple one went outside, and that was all!

Raindrops are such funny things.
They haven't feet or haven't wings.
Yet they sail through the air
With the greatest of ease,
And dance on the street
Wherever they please.

The old man is snoring.
He bumped his head, and he went to bed,
And he couldn't get up in the morning. 
 

Dancing on a rainbow,     
           (dance fingers above head)
As colours arch the sky.  
          (arch arms above head and out)
Sliding down a rainbow,  
          (slide hands down to lap)
Perched so high.         
          (arch arms above and over head)

Dancing on a gentle cloud,    
         (dance fingers)
Floating through the sky.     
         (float hands)
Twirling on a floating cloud, 
        (twirl hands)
Perched so high.             
        (lift hands up above head)
