pumpkin
Papier-Kürbisse
liegen in verschiedenen Farben auf dem Boden, die Kinder sitzen im Kreis
darum herum.
Erzählen
Sie die Geschichte vom orangenen Kürbis:
Once there was
an orange pumpkin (den Kürbis hoch halten) which was very hungry.
So he ate a banana
and turned into ……
Die Kinder sagen
"yellow" und ein Kind nimmt den gelben Kürbis und gibt ihm dem Lehrer.
Der Lehrer hält
ihn fest und erzählt die Geschichte weiter:
Then he ate an
apple (chocolate ice-cream, peas, the sky, ....)
Erzählen
Sie die Geschichte weiter.
Am Ende fragen
Sie die Kinder, was der Kürbis essen könnte, um wieder seine
orangene Farbe zurück zu erhalten.
2. Pass the pumpkin

Alle sitzen im
Kreis.
Man benötigt
einen Plastikkürbis, den die Kinder weitergeben müssen, während
der Lehrer auf eine Trommel schlägt. Die Kinder geben den Kürbis
weiter nach dem Tempo der Musik. Variieren Sie zwischen schnell und langsam.
Wenn die Musik stoppt, muss das Kind, das gerade den Kürbis hat, aufstehen
und sich verbeugen (oder etwas singen, oder 5 Kniebeugen machen .....)

Ein Kind hält
einen kleinen Plastikkürbis zwischen Kinn und Brust am Hals und gibt
ihn an ein anderen Kind weiter. Während die Musik spielt, läuft
das Spiel. Wenn die Musik aussetzt, muss das Kind, das gerade den Kürbis
hat, aussetzen.

In einem großen
Plastikkürbis befinden sich Buntstifte verschiedener Farben, einer
für jedes Kind. Die Kinder sitzen im Kreis und geben den Kürbis
weiter, während die Musik spielt. Wenn die Musik stoppt, nimmt das
Kind, das gerade den Kürbis hält, einen Bleistift heraus und
benennt die Farbe.
5. Find the pumpkins
Schneiden Sie
10 Kürbisse aus orangenem Tonpapier aus und schreiben Sie hinten darauf
eine Zahl (entweder 1,5 oder 10). Verstecken Sie die Kürbisse in der
Klasse, bevor die Kinder hereinkommen. Eine Gruppe darf suchen (3-4 Kinder).
Wenn alle Kürbisse gefunden sind, zählen die Kinder ihre Punkte
auf der Rückseite zusammen. Dann werden die nächsten 3-4 Kinder
hinausgeschickt und die Kürbisse wieder versteckt.
Wer am Schluss
die meisten Punkte hat, hat gewonnen.

Kürbisrezept
Wer gerne kocht,
kann sich versuchen an
Paddy’s Kürbissuppe
Zutaten: (für
4 Personen)
1 mittelgroßer
Kürbis
4 geschälte
Kartoffeln
1 EL Butter
4 Zwiebeln
2 Knoblauchzehen
Basilikum
1 Glas trockenen
Weißwein
1 kl. Brühwürfel
250g Sahne
250g Schmand
Geröstete
Kürbiskerne
Muskat, Salz,
Pfeffer
Zubereitung:
Kürbis waschen
und einen Deckel ausschneiden. Kerne entfernen. Mit einem kleinen scharfen
Messer vorsichtig das Kürbisfleisch bis auf 2 cm Rand entfernen. Feingewürfelte
Zwiebeln und gepreßter Knoblauch in Butter andünsten, Kürbisfleisch,
Kartoffeln dazugeben. Mit Weißwein ablöschen und mit Wasser
auffüllen. Brühwürfel hinzugeben. Köcheln lassen bis
alles gar ist. Abschmecken mit Muskat, Salz und Pfeffer. Alles pürieren,
Sahne dazugeben und abschmecken. Nach Belieben Schmand unterziehen. Nun
den Kürbis-Topf füllen und servieren. In den Tellern die Suppe
mit Basilikum und Kürbiskernen bestreuen.
